Volunteers
The Volunteer program at Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station consists of members from the community who have demonstrated a willingness to maintain a high quality of life in the area they live in. These individuals have assumed responsibilities that require them to achieve a higher level of public trust. Deputy Patrick Rissler oversees the program. Pat is a 27 year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and a graduate of Academy Class 203. Deputy Rissler has been assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Community Relations Unit for the past 19 years, conducting Neighborhood Watch meetings, child safety presentations and always promoting "A Tradition of Service." Volunteers have an opportunity to learn about law enforcement, and with their unselfish acts of community service, help improve law enforcement services. If you are interested in working as a station volunteer, please contact Deputy Pat Rissler at (661) 799-5159.
