- FREE SAFE AND SECURE COMMUNITY COLLECTION EVENT - The City of Santa Clarita and the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station have joined in partnership to host a fee collection event this Saturday.
Santa Clarita residents can drive through the above location where they can drop off unwanted electronic waste, such as computer equipment and televisions; can safely dispose of unwanted or expired medication; or can protect their identity and drop off up to 5 boxes of paper or personal documents to be safely and securely shredded. - More Info:
- - This is a drive-through event
- Up to 5 boxes of paper will be accepted per vehicle
- Shredding will be done by Confidential Data Destruction
- Certificate of Destruction will be provided by the Sheriff's Department
- Hazardous materials, such as chemicals, paints, household pesticides, etc., will NOT be accepted at this event
- Sorry, we will not be able to take appliances, engines, batteries, household hazardous waste, light bulbs, or any other material not outlined in the brochure.
-Syringes and medical equipment will NOT be accepted at this event.
